How to find balance.
It may sound easy that's because it really is, set yourself a routine and stick to you. You’ll find after a few weeks your routine will end up becoming habitual behaviour that you do without even thinking about it.
My morning routine:
1. 4.30am - wake, make my bed (it sets you up for the day because well.... you’ve already achieved something)
2. Self reflection and gratitude list (this is a perfect practice to reflect on your achievements over the past 24 hours, list what you are grateful for and highlight one thing that you absolutely have to do today to better yourself. This can’t be a work related task, make is something personal (read a book, listen to a podcast, educate yourself on something, the list is endless)
3. Social media time - I set aside time specifically for social media interaction
4. Create my ‘to do’ list for the day (this helps me to stay on task, even on the weekends)
5. And of course..... there was coffee that whole time
